The Mural is a community newspaper serving Athens, Mallorytown, Thousand Islands Parkway, Escott, Delta, Lyndhurst, Charleston Lake, Plum Hollow, Addison, Frankville, Toledo, Lyn, RR#3 & RR#4 Brockville, Jasper, Seeley's Bay, Elgin, and Lansdowne. The paper is distributed within the Counties of Leeds & Grenville in Eastern Ontario. Copies are delivered free of charge to over 9,200 homes courtesy of the community-minded businesses that advertise in The Mural. Copies are also available at selected stores. 

The paper's mandate is to cover local news and events. Too many times the media is willing to overlook positive events and stories that occur locally. The Mural believes in promoting a positive outlook by showcasing the wonderful local people and events that make our communities so unique. Community papers like The Mural are important and without them local voices would not be heard.  

The Mural also provides an important service in strengthening local business. By providing an inexpensive yet quality source for local businesses to advertise The Mural enables small business to grow. When local business prospers so does the community.
